You should check out the original "Metal Gear" for NES; that game is what we call Classic Nintendo Hard, or CNH for short.
Now, is this supposed to be Solid Snake, or Naked Snake, i.e. the future Big Boss and protagonist of "MGS3: Snake Eater"? I suppose it doesn't really matter, since the former is simply a clone of the latter.
Any-dang-way, this looks very pretty. The skin looks very polished, and the interplay between light and shadow really brings out his tight musculature of his well-trained body. Moreover, it shows the tension of his pose, like he is ready to spring forward and strike like a cobra.
His face is gaunt and tight, with his dark eyes veiled partially by his headband. This illustrates his classically stoic personality, and makes us wonder what he could be thinking, or what he could be about to do. The hair looks great combed back and kinda stringy.
His right arm looks a little stretched and thin, as do the fingers on his right hand, but then again, I have no room to talk since I can barely draw hands to save my life! Other than that, a fine fan piece. Well done

that's the one! Does the hand/arm look better now? I've had more complaints on the same thing, so I tried to fix it not so much the arm but.. and manly hands aren't... my strong side lol.
I had no idea it was for NES too! I've only played Snake eater and damn that's a good game so... maybe I should try people say it's one of the best game series there is. Thank you!
Oh yeah! The first few "Metal Gear" games were on the Nintendo! If Konami and Nintendo didn't have such a falling out in the mid-nineties, those "Metal Gear: Solid" games might have come out on Nintendo systems, too. I was never a huge fan of the games (cuz they were so freakin' hard!) but you gotta respect a character that's been around 20 years +.
The hand does look fuller and stronger.

lol indeed. maybe it's just me, but I think all games in general get easier with the years. Suppose that depends on the games too, but. The early resident evil games were terrible o_O in my opinion anyway. Glad it helped a bit
yea.. especially on the shoes I tried to concentrate more on the upper body so I don't mind if the rest is a little blurry n stuff... thank youfor the comment and fav!!
Yea I thought should I say something about the shoes but then I thought "naah - oh sh*t the recess bell! O_o" ...It rant that I had to get to class, which was in the third floor and I was in the BASEMENT. ;_;
But, you're very welcome. This still rocks my socks off.

Love the soft way of drawing you've used...
But you can see some strokes here and there that have gone over the lineor so, giving it a sketchy and a uncompliete look.
